Emphase FMH 4000X Horizontal Type Industrial IDE Flash Disk Module



The Emphase FMH 4000X horizontal flash module makes it convenient to configure solid state platforms in custom enclosures or in chassis with height restrictions. It can either plug directly into an IDE port (female connector version of module) or be connected via an IDE cable (male connector version of module) to act as a hard drive. Also, a dual-sided layout (C, D, E & F series only) featuring both male and female connectors allows multiple IDE devices to be attached, freeing your platform from previous restrictions when using a standard IDE direct-plug flash module.

With no moving parts, wide temperature range, and R/W endurance of 2,000,000 times, the FMH 4000X increases the range of environments and climate conditions your system can withstand. The wear-leveling algorithm extends the module's lifetime and performance by evenly spreading the media usage across all pages in the flash. Also, the FMH 4000X supports most operating systems, including Windows XPe and Linux.

The FMH 4000X is available in 40-pin & 44-pin versions of the following types:
A – Female Type, IDE notch faces away from module
B – Female Type, IDE notch faces over the module
C – Male Type, IDE notch faces away from module
D – Male Type, IDE notch faces over the module
E – Female/Male Type, IDE notch faces away from module
F – Female/Male Type, IDE notch faces over the module
